Casey Anthony Verdict and Sentence

I have to pause and wonder again why everyone is so worked up about this woman. I seriously thought they were going to lynch her when the verdict came down. When she is released next week, I wonder if she will be killed by a mob.

Something horrible happened because someone is dead, and this woman seems...well...at best she knows something. I think something slimy went on for sure. But this happens all the time. Why is the country so worked over this?

Does is have something to do with the economy? Is it that people feel powerless right now and Casey Anthony comes "just does what she wants" and gets away with it?
